Creating new forms for occupation and engagement within established urban territories.

Working with artist Beastman, we developed the concept of the volcanic emergence of new ground within Martin Place. This presented more opportunities for people to engage with and occupy the plaza.

Beastman takes his inspiration from patterns in nature so we were delighted to work with him, using flower colour to re-present his work which is normally found on walls around the city or art galleries. This work takes the art off those walls and applies it to the urban canvas.
